What we collect

Account details (name, email, phone), delivery addresses, order history, and - for sellers - identity documents (a live selfie, Ghana Card or passport number and photo) and payout details. We record the IP address used at verification for fraud prevention.

How we use it

To run the marketplace: processing orders, verifying sellers, arranging delivery and vendor payouts, resolving disputes, and sending order updates by email and SMS.

Identity documents

Seller KYC documents are used only to verify identity and are visible to our review team, never published publicly or shared with buyers. Buyers only ever see a seller's verified badge and store details.

Payments

Card and mobile-money payments are processed by our payment partner (Paystack). Vendars does not store full card numbers.

Sharing

We share delivery details with the relevant seller so they can fulfil your order. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information where legally required.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Retention

We keep order and verification records as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
